Żelpol pregelatinized starch
Żelpol pregelatinized starch is a product obtained in the process of thermal processing of starch solution and subsequently its drying and grinding. It is used in the food industry as a thickener and binder for ketchups, mayonnaise, mustard, cottage cheese, yoghurts, jams, confectionery, ice-cream, soups, instant sauces and confectionery baked goods.
TASTE, ODOUR: typical, without off-taste and off-smells
COLOUR: white through cream white
APPEARANCE, CONSISTENCY: fine, loose powder
MOISTURE CONTENT: max. 10%
SOLUBILITY IN COLD WATER: soluble
PACKAGING: 4-layer valve paper bags (20 kg) or other, as required by the customer
STORAGE CONDITIONS: dry, clean and well-ventilated facilities without foreign odours; recommended relative humidity below 85%.
MINIMUM SHELF-LIFE: Żelpol stored in original packaging, in conditions compliant with the specifications, retains its properties for a minimum period of 36 months.
TRANSPORT REQUIREMENTS: to be transported by clean and dry means of transport, with packaging protection against damage and soaking. The product is not classified as hazardous and is not covered by ADR regulations.
GMO STATEMENT: the product is not genetically modified and was manufactured using GMO-free raw materials.
ALLERGEN STATEMENT: Gluten-free product. The product contains wheat starch.
CONSUMPTION RESTRICTIONS: none; pregelatinized starch may be consumed by people of all religions, as well as vegans and vegetarians.
